Moo Lander is a 2D action-adventure RPG with metroidvania elements featuring an epic plot, mighty cow bosses, beautiful environments, clever puzzles, and a lot of milky madness! The game has a 10+ hours long single-player campaign with a rich storyline, a distinctive milk-based weaponry, interactive environments and visually stunning landscapes. In addition it has a variety of 4-player couch multiplayer PvP and PvE modes. It was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and GOG in 2022 and Nintendo Switch coming in 2026. The average Metacritic score is 74/100 and around 80% positive reviews on all platforms. The game won Game Connection and ChinaJoy's Most Creative Indie Game of the year when it released.

Responsibilities:

Development of the game was entirely done in-house - from concept to releasing on PC and Consoles. We have: - Prototyped and refined the enemies, puzzles and level design - Created advanced behavioral AI for the Cow Bosses that tracks multiple live data streams - Crafted 5 distinct hand-crafted environmental biomes - Expanded replay and social value by developing multiple cooperative and competitive local multiplayer modes - Created the animations and visual effects - Developed a custom solutions for achieving Depth of Field Blur (2D), smooth data streaming (no loading screens) - Written the storyline and script - Composed an original soundtrack - Created and mixed all of the sound effects - Ensured a smooth experience with thousands of hours of playtesting and bug testing - Ported and optimized the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch - Handled the marketing campaign leading to the multiplatform release
