The simulation features a detailed replica of a semiconductor factory with multiple cleanrooms and dozens of interactive machines. The experience is enhanced with guides on the production process, that helps workers to gain understanding of the complex operations. The risk-free environment helps improve their readiness and operational skills. Users can: - Initiate chip manufacturing processes through in-game terminal - Observe and control workflows - Access detailed manuals and technical documentation for each machine Developed for Semiwise - a UK based semiconductor technology company that develops and licenses CMOS device and simulation software as well as offering consultancy and training to the chip industry.

Responsibilities:

Our company was tasked with building an immersive educational "digital twin" simulation for training semiconductor factory workers in a virtual cleanroom environment. Some of our work include: - Designed and built the educational semiconductor cleanroom simulation in Unity 3D - Converted unpolished 3ds Max files into high-quality models by creating custom textures and reworking geometry - Created a photorealistic environment based on real semiconductor factories - Implemented functional chip-manufacturing processes, terminal-based workflows, context-aware interactions and integrated production manuals
